Twist Films are making a series called A to Z of London. So far there are 4 films representing an area of London not often used in films, and an incident in that area. Like a book of short stories the films will build up a picture of London where by the whole is greater than a sum of the parts (like a mosaic).

We use digital technology and super 8 to shoot on, we edit on a Mac using Final cut Pro and the budget for each film is in or around one hundred pounds. Up to now we have completed all the scripts, produced two of the films (see above) and are in pre-production of four more. These will be produced this year.

The style of the films is Neo-Dickensian, and by that I mean; strong characters, popular rather than high brow in theme, accessible as in structured round a beginning middle and end, and London based.
