Presents a showreel of three composers who are internationally acknowledged for their work in the arenas of Songwriting, Adverts and Film music.

Gilbert Gabriel has composed music featured in "The Beach" (released early 2000), "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", "Planes,Trains and Automobiles", "Heaven" by Diane Keaton as well as writing music for Independent film makers such as Nigel Karikari (see mp3 links below).

Steve Lambert (Orchestral,jazz and World music) has composed music for "The Feel Good Factor' (Channel Four Drama Documentary), Billy Connolly's "Live at the Albert Hall", Film library music and ad music for Levis and BMW.

Andrew Fryer has produced music for the "Paradise Club" (Zenith T.V). He has also written theme music for the BBC World Service and Radio 5, including title music for "Titus Groan", "Book for Bedtime" and "Off the Shelf".

Nigel KariKari is the first independent director to be featured on our new page.

He is a Bafta Award winning writer for a shortscreen play called "Static" which he directed in 2000. He has also completed a 1/2 hour screenplay for the BBC called "Earthlight" and writing a play for Radio 4.

The "Light Trap" is written,directed and edited by Nigel KariKari and has a music soundtrack by Gilbert Gabriel.

Synopsis

A disenchanted hitman joins a dating agency to find a new life of love but instead is consumed by the process of photography as he enters a photo booth which steals his soul. It has Faustian overtones of the conflict between man and his pact with technology as well as conjuring up Native American and African folklore of the ability of cameras to extract the souls of individuals.
