Hi
Gilbert and all Futura fans,
I just had a chance to hear the vocal and instrumental mix of Futura's
"Call my Name" and was literally blown away. The new song is pure brilliance.
It's the type of song that feels like it should be in a feature film as
much as the club or radio. The infectious and energetic beats with intermixed
piano, surreal vocals, and lush string-like synths take you on a wonderful
journey. The song sort of reminds me of "The Love Parade" and "Angel of
Mercy" just because of the amount of energy and feeling it generates.
It is as if "Call my Name" should be blasting from the car stereo while
you are driving a convertible down some open, scenic highway.
Congratulations
on a hit single. If Warners plays it's cards even half right with the
distribution and promotion, it will be an international smash and already
is in my heart. I can't wait to hear the radio mix and for it to be formally
released here in the States. I want to go buy it on CD Single from my
local shop. Thanks for the inspiration. I wish I had something as brilliant
to give back to you.
All
the best,
Chris
